If you are looking for a simple addition to your fall or thanksgiving day decor then this free crochet pumpkin coaster pattern is a perfect fit. They work up super quick and are extremely easy to make, I made 6 in less than an hour!!!! Or if you do not crochet they can be purchased in my Etsy shop (link at bottom of post).
Materials
G sized hook
Worsted weight cotton yarn (orange and green or brown for stem)
(I used Lily Sugar n Cream Cotton Yarn)
Abbreviations
ch: chain
dc: double crochet
sl st: slip stitch
Pattern
Pumpkin
Using orange yarn
Make a magic ring, ch 2, work 12 dc into the ring, pull tight and sl st into first dc (12 st)
Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around (24 st)
Ch 2, dc in same st, 2 dc in next st (repeat around), sl st into first dc (36 st)
Ch 2, dc in next 2 st, 2 dc in next st (repeat around), sl st into first dc (48 st)
Finish off and weave in ends
Stem
Sl st to one dc of final round, ch 2, dc in same st and next 2, ch 2 and sl st into same st as final dc
Finish off and weave in ends
Congratulations you now have your very own pumpkin coaster, now make as many as you want/need!!!!
